1. Overview

We keep the use of cookies and browser storage to the minimum needed to operate the website and understand how it is used. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking or third-party analytics services.

2. What we use

• Cookie notice acknowledgement (browser local storage, key ss_cookie_ack): remembers that you have dismissed the cookie notice. Strictly necessary. Retained until cleared by you.
• First-party analytics identifier (browser local storage, key ss_vid): a random identifier that lets us count returning visits without identifying you. It is generated in your browser and not linked to your name, email or IP address. You can remove it by clearing site data. It is not set if your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
• Administrative session cookie (ss_admin_session): set only for authorized staff who sign in to the private administration area. Strictly necessary for that function; not set for ordinary visitors.

3. Analytics data

Our analytics are first-party and privacy-respecting. For each page view we record the page path, the referring website, approximate country, device type and the random identifier above. We do not record full IP addresses in analytics records, and analytics data is automatically deleted after approximately 13 months.

4. Managing cookies

You can control and delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may affect the operation of some features, such as the administration area.

5. Changes

If we introduce additional cookies or technologies, we will update this policy and, where required, request your consent.
