Careers & Applicant Privacy Notice

1. Scope

This notice applies to individuals who apply for employment, contract or freelance positions through this website or by email, and to professionals who ask to be considered for client engagements through our talent solutions. The controller is LEXANTA PRIVATE LIMITED, operating SAPSecurity.in.

2. Information we collect

• Identity and contact details: name, email, phone, location, LinkedIn profile.
• Professional information: resume/CV, experience, current role, notice period, compensation expectations, cover note and any information you choose to include.
• Information generated during the process: interview notes, assessments, status and communications.
• Where lawful and necessary for a role, information needed for background, reference or right-to-work checks. We will tell you before such checks are carried out.

3. How we use it

• To assess your suitability for the position you applied for and, with your agreement, for other suitable positions or client engagements.
• To communicate with you about your application and the process.
• To meet legal obligations relating to employment and contracting.
• To improve our recruitment process on an aggregated basis.

4. Resume storage

Resume files submitted through the careers form are uploaded to a third-party file hosting service used by us to store application documents so that our team can review them. Files are accessible via unlisted links known to our team and are not published or indexed. If you would prefer not to submit your resume through the form, you may email it to careers@sapsecurity.in.

5. Sharing

Application information is shared internally with people involved in the recruitment decision. For talent solutions, your professional profile may be shared with a prospective client, and we will tell you before doing so. We may use service providers for hosting, email and file storage. We do not sell candidate data.

6. Retention

If your application is successful, your information becomes part of your employment or contractor record. If unsuccessful, we retain application information for up to 12 months after the decision to consider you for other roles and to respond to any queries, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or a longer period is required by law.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your application information, or withdraw your application at any time, by contacting careers@sapsecurity.in. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

8. Equal opportunity

We consider applicants on the basis of skills, experience and suitability for the role. Please do not include sensitive personal information (such as health, religion or political opinions) in your application unless it is required for a specific reason we have communicated.
