About the role
This is a delivery role for someone who enjoys the technical side of SAP Security. You will build and maintain roles, troubleshoot authorization issues, run access reviews and support clients through audits.
You will work within a small team led by a senior consultant, with a clear path to leading your own engagements.
Responsibilities
- Build, modify and test single, composite and derived roles
- Analyse authorization failures (SU53, ST01, SUIM) and propose fixes that respect the concept
- Perform user administration and periodic access reviews
- Prepare evidence and documentation for audits
- Support GRC risk analysis and mitigation control assignment
Requirements
- 4+ years of SAP Security experience on ECC or S/4HANA
- Solid PFCG, SU24, SUIM and transport handling skills
- Experience supporting at least one audit cycle
- Strong understanding of the SAP authorization concept: roles, profiles, authorization objects, org levels
- Comfortable working directly with business process owners, IT and auditors
- Clear written and spoken English; able to document designs and decisions
