About the role
As Security Architect you set the direction for how our clients' SAP landscapes are secured. You define target security architectures, review designs produced by project teams, and advise leadership on risk, governance and roadmap decisions.
This is a senior, client-facing role. You will spend as much time explaining decisions to executives and auditors as you will reviewing technical designs.
Responsibilities
- Define SAP security strategy, target operating model and architecture for client programmes
- Act as design authority across authorization, GRC, HANA, Fiori and integration security
- Review and approve security designs produced by project teams and partners
- Advise on regulatory and audit requirements as they apply to SAP
- Lead pre-sales solutioning and estimation for complex engagements
Requirements
- 12+ years in SAP Security with at least 3 years in an architecture or design authority role
- Delivered security architecture for at least one large S/4HANA programme
- Deep knowledge of SAP GRC, HANA security and Fiori authorization design
- Experience with SOX, ICFR or equivalent control frameworks in SAP contexts
- Strong stakeholder management at CIO, CISO and audit committee level

- SAP BTP and Cloud Identity Services
- Identity governance platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt, Okta)
- Public sector or regulated industry experience
